This is a Caron Broadcasting and/or Salem Communications radio contest being executed on Sunny 99.1 WCVQ HD2 and affiliate of Salem Communications.

1. The “Secret Sound” Contest (“Contest”) is open to any U.S. legal resident eighteen (18) years of age or older who
has not won a Salem radio station or affiliate on-air contest in the last thirty (30) days. Only one (1) winner will be
allowed per immediate family or household. Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, and
immediate family and household members of Caron Broadcasting and/or Salem Communications, its parent
company, its parent’s affiliated companies, and its advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to
participate in the Contest.
2. The secret sound (“Secret Sound”) each weekday beginning Thursday, August 20, 2015 through Friday October
9, 2015 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. CST. The Secret Sound will be played three (3) times per
day for the duration of the Contest, at approximately 7:10 a.m., 12:10 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. Each time the Secret
Sound is played, the fourteenth (14th) caller to call (800) 826-3637 will be asked to identify the Secret Sound. If
that caller correctly identifies the Fish Secret Sound they will win the current jackpot cash prize. If the caller does
not correctly identify the Secret Sound they will receive a consolation prize (of 10,000 Family Rewards Points-no
cash value). An incorrect guess does not disqualify the caller from continuing to guess the Secret Sound. After an
incorrect guess the same Secret Sound will be re-played and the fourteenth (14th) caller at the next time slot will
have the opportunity to identify the Secret Sound. Each time the Secret Sound is not correctly identified by the
fourteenth (14th) caller the Contest will continue and the Prize will increase by Twenty Five dollars ($25.00) until
the Secret Sound is correctly guessed. Once the Secret Sound is correctly identified, the Prize will begin again at
One-Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for the next Secret Sound that is played the next weekday morning. Each Secret
Sound winner is eligible to receive a One Hundred Dollar ($100) Cash bonus if they are a registered Family
Rewards Member prior to playing the contest. Each time the Secret Sound is incorrectly identified the Prize will
increase by Twenty Five dollars($25.00) until the fourteenth (14th) caller identifies it correctly. If the last Secret
Sound played on October 16, 2015 is not correctly identified, then at Radio Station’s sole discretion, the Contest
will either end without that Secret Sound being correctly identified, or Radio Station may continue the Contest
using the same format until the fourteenth (14th) caller correctly identifies that Secret Sound. The winners must
complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability and, where lawful, publicity release. If Radio Station does not
receive the affidavit and release within two (2) weeks of notification, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate
winner may be selected. Except where prohibited by law, by signing the affidavit and release, the winner grants
permission to the use of his/her/its name, likeness, picture, portrait, hometown, service mark, voice,
biographical/other information, and statements for advertising and promotional purposes for this and other
promotions by Radio Station without additional compensation. The prize will be awarded within approximately two
(2) weeks after all required proof and documentation is received. Odds of winning depend on the total number of
Secret Sound incorrect guesses.
3. There will be one (1) Prize for each winner who correctly identifies the Secret Sound. The Prize will start at One-
Hundred Dollars ($100) and an additional Twenty Five ($25.00) will be added each time the Secret Sound is not
correctly identified until a caller correctly identifies the Secret Sound (“Prize”). The next time the Secret Sound is
played the Prize will begin again at One Hundred dollars ($100.00) and an additional Twenty-Five Dollars
($25.00) will be added each day after each incorrect guess until the Secret Sound is correctly identified. There is
no dollar limit on the Prize amount. No transfer or substitution will be given for the Prize, provided however, Radio
Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
4. By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by all of these Official Contest
Rules and the decisions of General Manager of Radio Station (“Contest Judge”). All decisions regarding the
Contest including, but not limited to, announcing the winner, will be made by the Contest Judge, whose decisions
shall be final. The Contest Judge may prohibit an entrant from participating in this Contest, in his/her sole
discretion, if, in the opinion of the Contest Judge, the entrant fails to abide by these rules, or otherwise acts (i) in a
non-professional or inappropriate manner, (ii) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other
entrant or Radio Station, its parent company, its parent’s affiliated companies or its advertising and promotion
agencies, or (iii) in any other disruptive manner. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state,
and local taxes, and may be required to complete a W-9 taxpayer identification form. All federal, state, and local
laws apply. By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold Radio Station, its parent
company and its parent’s affiliated companies harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and
actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize,
including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and claims based on any libel,
slander, illegal competition or trade practice, violation of rights of privacy, infringement of copyrights or other
rights of third parties.
